Gentle grace, profound musicality

Sohini Dey weaves together over two decades of stage experience and classical training in her performances.

Recognised as an All India Radio Graded Artist and a CCRT National Scholarship recipient, she moves between Hindustani classical, Bollywood, Thumri, Dadra, Bhajan, Ghazal, semi-classical, Sufi, folk and contemporary music with remarkable authenticity.

She won SaReGaMa Battle of Bands Season-1, hosted by Doordarshan, was a finalist on MTV’s Colors of Youth Season-7, and received the Gold Trophy at WAVES Awards 2025. Her artistry is further shaped by an ongoing collaboration with Padmashree Hariharan, and her repertoire is enriched by numerous professional studio recordings across India.
